Everyone is worried.
I am watching the news everyday.
All of my teachers, even the ones I have never taken classes from, stop me in the hall way, and ask me if everyone I know in Japan is OK, and how sorry they are about what happened, and what is happening.
I am talking to friends about organizing fund-raising concerts.
I would like to do every little thing I can do to help.
Please let me know if there is anything I can do from here.
On a completely separate note, I am still in the process of choosing a new laptop to buy.
The reason why it is taking so long is because of the war between Mac and PC users.
Mac lovers try to convert me, and PC users try to talk me out of it.
90% of musicians own Mac, it seems, and sending audio/video files between Mac is easier than PC to Mac.
I am torn.

Long lasting battery (5 hours)
90% of musicians seem to have a Mac. Mailing audio/video files are easier between Macs.

Only 2GB RAM (upgrade for 4GB with additional $100)
Microsoft Office would be extra (with student discount, it would be cheap)
Though my data from the broken computer was saved, if i were to install it directly to Mac, Window files may be distorted a bit.
